My name is Christina Wendland.  I have owned and operated A is for Apple for over 20 years. I'm an Early Education and Care Licensed Child Care Provider as well as a certified Infant/Toddler and Preschool teacher and Director. I am CPR and First Aid certified yearly and have completed over 200 hours of Early Childhood and Care education training. A is for Apple is a large in-home family child care. I have assistants working with me throughout the day that are certified and licensed through the Department of Early Education and Care. 

     A is for Apple strives to enhance the cognitive, social and emotional well being of the children in our care and to serve the diverse needs of their families. As a family child care provider, I aim to provide a caring home away from home environment geared toward the individual child's interests and needs. 

     I participate in Yours For Children food program and will provide healthy and nutritious snacks and meals.
